HEALTH, SAFETY &
WELLBEING

Health, Safety And Operational Care

Safety and employee wellbeing form a core part of how Tengwa Africa operates. We apply structured systems and processes to manage health, safety and environmental risks across our facilities and operations.

To support this, Tengwa Africa operates on EHS Insight, a digital platform that enables continuous monitoring of health, safety and environmental compliance. This allows for proactive risk management and supports a consistent safety culture across the business.

ENVIRONMENTAL
RESPONSIBILITY

Reducing Environmental Impact

As part of our commitment to responsible operations, Tengwa Africa continues to invest in energy efficiency and environmental management initiatives.

Our South African head office is powered by a state-of-the-art solar installation, including:

210 high-capacity solar panels (610W each)

Three Freedom One batteries (80–60kWh)

350kWp inverters

This installation reduces reliance on non-renewable energy sources, lowers operational costs and significantly decreases the site’s carbon footprint.

Culture And Community

Across our operations, we encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability and respect. Team engagement initiatives and community participation activities are supported at a regional level, aligned with local needs and priorities.

This includes participation in recognised initiatives such as Nelson Mandela Day and internal team-building programmes within our South African operations.

Tengwa Africa remains committed to responsible growth, prioritising people, safety and sustainability as essential components of long-term operational success.
