This corridor supports coal movements to the Port of Maputo, with established and consistent throughput of up to 16 000 tons per month. Tengwa is currently investing in infrastructure upgrades at Sunbury, including the installation of a chrome deck, to expand the range of commodities that can be handled and to support future growth along this route.
The Ferrogate corridor is dedicated to high-volume chrome movements, supporting sustained export flows of up to 30 000 tons per month. With access to substantial capacity, this route plays a critical role in enabling reliable, large-scale chrome exports.
From Steelpoort, Tengwa facilitates the rail transport of vanadium and magnetite to MPDC, supporting mineral export supply chains that require stable, high-throughput rail solutions of up to 20 000 tons per month.
